Newcastle Driver Trainer Brings FFF Message To Students

Newcastle road safety advocate and driver trainer Scott Holding is bringing the Fatality Free Friday message to Year 11 students at Warners Bay High School at 10.30am on Friday 28 May.

Practical tips to make driving more enjoyable and safer for new drivers will be the focus of the event.

“It’s important to reach new drivers as soon as possible to educate them on points they don’t tend to think about in the excitement of getting their licence,” said Scott. “Matters like fatigue and mental attitude are important components for getting the very best from their driving career.”

Fatality Free Friday Founder Russell White said that it was great to see local community groups from around the country joining the campaign.

“This sort of event symbolises what Fatality Free Friday is all about. We want to encourage schools and other community groups to take action on the issue of road safety and actively do something positive in helping to reduce road trauma.”
