Organize A Road Safety Event In Your Community

If you would like to organize a road safety event to coincide with Fatality Free Friday, use our contact form to send us the details and we will list them on our Events page.

We are undertaking a series of media releases in the lead up to Fatality Free Friday and your event may be mentioned in a release by us to the media.

An event may be nothing more than organizing a morning tea at your workplace prior to the day at which you and your workmates sign the Fatality Free Friday Pledge. Or it may be as involved as organizing a road safety awareness event involving local youth clubs or community associations such as resident groups or schools.

The overarching aim of any event should be to get people talking about road safety. The more people who are thinking 'safe driving' on May 25, the better.

We will shortly be posting more information on this site to assist with such events. We are unable to assist directly other than listing your event on the website and issuing general media releases that may mention local events.

We look forward to Fatality Free Friday being an annual event and working with you in greater association in the future.
